LLM Red Teaming with NIST and MITRE ATLAS

On February 24, 2026, Federico Cerutti delivered a CLUSIT community session on red teaming large language models, framing the topic through both NIST work and the MITRE ATLAS knowledge base in order to reason systematically about threats, test cases, and evaluation methods.

The talk approached the topic operationally: not only which attacks are relevant for generative systems today, but also how to design test scenarios, document results, and connect red teaming activity to governance and adoption decisions inside organisations.
