SCARPHASE
Funding: PNRR, NextGeneration EU
Status: running
SCARPHASE studies how to guarantee security, privacy, resilience, and dependability in the communication technologies that support cooperative driving. The project spans heterogeneous technologies, from DSRC to 5G and beyond, and also considers emerging options such as visible light communications and joint communication and sensing.
The central challenge is to design cross-technology and cross-layer mechanisms that support safety-critical decisions without exposing personal data such as motion and location traces. Within ANS, this work is framed as a contribution to the SERICS Structural Project SCAR.
